How to Stop Sweaty Armpits

Now everyone is different and so the tips I'm about to give you, may or may not work for you! The most important thing is that you try them before discarding them and that you try them for a good two weeks at least!

1) Might seem obvious, but for some the clue of discovering how to stop sweaty armpits lays in showering or bathing regularly and daily. That means at least 2 washes a day, more if you need to.

Always change into fresh clean underwear and outer clothing.

2) Use a strong strength anti-perspirant/deodorant and spray it on all over the top half of your body and then let it dry on your body before dressing.

3) Don't wear tight fitting clothes. Allow your body to breath and not be confined to stifling clothes as this will only cause you to sweat more.

If you can, wear naturally made fibers such as cotton as these will help your body breath and keep cool.

4) Avoid certain foods that naturally cause the body to sweat anyway. These foods include, but are not exclusive to pepper, garlic, coffee, fatty foods, alcohol and onions.

5) Make sure you're not overweight. Being overweight means you're carrying more fat and the body has to work harder to get rid of the toxins in your body. That means more sweating.

6) It might seem weird and counter productive, but if you want to figure out how to stop sweaty armpits and stop sweating, then take up some regular exercise.

When we exercise we naturally sweat and this will help to rid your body of those toxins.

7) Getting stressed about how to stop sweating? Sweating because you're stressed? It's a vicious and never ending cycle and you have to break that cycle.

So calm yourself down and make sure that you're not stressing yourself out unnecessarily! If you have a big job or occasion coming up, then make sure you prepare well and you know your stuff so that you don't panic yourself into worrying and stressing.

Why You?

So they're my tips on how to stop sweaty armpits!

But why you?  I asked myself that question repeatedly when I was going through my battles and search for some real help that would help me.

The Cause of Sweaty Armpits

Truth is the cause of Axillary Hyperhidrosis, as sweating armpits is called, is not absolutely known.  Doctors aren't really sure what causes it, but what is known is that Axillary Hyperhidrosis happens when the sympathetic nervous system is over worked or over stimulated.

So again, if you are stressed, emotional or not 100% emotionally, then your sweating will be accelerated!  So whatever is causing your heightened emotional state, then you need to sort it out or get some solid professional help to sort it out!
